With our stand-alone Wheelscan, you get an advanced measurement station that easily integrates into your existing workflow. Wheelscan is designed to measure the tread depth of wheels at several stages: as soon as the wheels have been removed from the vehicle, after they have been washed, or just before they are moved to storage. This provides you with a flexible solution for ensuring the correct tire status at various times.

Our measurement station offers convenient unloading that is compatible with both forklifts and carts, or you can measure directly from the floor. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt Wheelscan to your work environment and routines. The technology behind Wheelscan is based on stereoscopic camera technology developed and refined by SAAB over many years. This provides a high-precision solution where each image taken contains a large number of measurement points. These measurement points are processed and compiled into five specific values across the tire’s tread, making it easy to identify uneven wear. Thanks to the large number of measurement points, Wheelscan can deliver reliable results even when the tires are dirty. The measurement values are automatically transferred to your business system, streamlining the workflow and reducing the risk of manual errors. At the same time, images of the tire’s condition are also sent, making it easy to communicate the tire’s status to the customer.

 This provides a clear and informative overview that can be very useful in advising and decision-making regarding the future management of the tires.
